Call for a Ph.D. School

The SureMap team announces an open call to select 25 candidates for a Ph.D. school in Water Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus, which will be held at the Faculty of Agriculture of Aswan University from November 19 to December 2, 2022.

The school will include topics related to sustainable agriculture and biotechnology under present and emerging constraints, hydroponics and aquaponic systems, food quality and value chain, as well as smart agriculture applications applied to the development of sustainable agriculture at different spatial scales.

Who can apply: Ph.D. students, lecturers, research assistants enrolled in one of the four Egyptian universities participating in the Suremap project. MSc students can additionally be admitted if positions will be available at the deadline of the first call. (The four universities are: Aswan University, Alexandria University, The American University in Cairo, and Heliopolis University).
